Flash Lighting Services, market leader in the design, building and management of intelligent lighting systems, has optimized its human resources department’s activities and achieved major time savings since they started using the scalable solution provided by HR Sincron SRL. The integrated human capital management system enables the company to strictly comply with legal deadlines and tax regulations, thus reducing the risk of sanctions.
With a turnover of around 37 million euros and a team of over 170 employees, Flash Lighting Services, a major player in the Romanian public lighting sector, is managing its HR processes with a modern system. The company, which operates lighting services in localities with over 300,000 inhabitants, has replaced the previously used application with the scalable SincronHR solution – HR management software that successfully covers all operations and fully supports the team development strategy.
The unification of the performance appraisal process throughout the organization, real-time access to information of interest and halving the time spent on back office activities are the results achieved by Flash Lighting Services after implementing the system offered by HR Sincron.
“A large part of our teams work across the country, which is why we wanted to make the performance management process a unified process across the company. As a first step, we implemented HR Sincron’s Performance Appraisal Module, believing it to be a configurable system. After our success, we decided to adopt the integrated HR system.
Before using the SincronHR solution, we had a rather underdeveloped application, which required at least 5-6 days of work for salary calculation, not to mention the post-calculation area. Now, with the new system, we can manage the payroll area in 2-3 days at most, and the post payroll part, with reporting, accounting notes and absolutely everything needed to finalize the process – is just a click away. The SincronHR platform simply helps us to declare the payroll closed for the respective month within a few hours. I can say that the time spent on all back office activities has been reduced by 50%.”
SincronHR's direct integrations with recruiting platforms have enabled the company to efficiently centralize resumes and candidate data from multiple sources, completely eliminating the need for Excel. Further, by interconnecting the modules in the SincronHR system, the information centralized at the recruitment stage is automatically transferred to the hiring process. Thus, once the job offer is accepted, the relevant data is directly integrated into the employment file and the individual employment contract, which is automatically generated using customized templates.
In addition, the notification system in SincronHR provides the street lighting service provider with increased control over documentation management and tax compliance. By automatically monitoring deadlines and accurately generating returns, including Declaration 112, Flash Lighting Services eliminates the risk of delays and penalties, ensuring ongoing tax compliance. This functionality not only significantly reduces the time spent on administrative activities, but also allows the company to focus on strategic goals, ensuring efficient and rigorous management of HR processes.
“The Reporting module available in SincronHR is extremely useful and absolutely necessary. It allows both the generation of standardized reports, according to the legislation in force (Declaration 112, accounting notes, statistical statements and other tax requirements), and the creation of customized reports, depending on the information you want to analyze.
We can now control the risk of error much more effectively, as human intervention is minimized and all information is kept in the SincronHR system. This ensures that the data provided is accurate and in line with reporting requirements.”
